Coconut Cookies

This is our one of the favorite cookies with my friend Jojo. One day I baked this cookies and served it to my Malaysian friends. Elhamdulillah they liked it very much. Even one of them wanted to take its recipe yesterday from me as she wanted to bake it for her family. I should send this to her but to publish it is easier than sending with this connection. I translate the recipe which I already forgot where I got the recipe from. With a little bit modification I used to do it in my own way. I hope you will like it. :) Here it is..

Ingredients
250 gr. Margarine (I do not use margarine as it is not healthy, I use natural butter instead. So the 170-200 gr. amount of butter can be enough)
3.5 water glass flour (You will adjust it according to its condition when you knead it)
2 eggs (Separate one's white into another cup)
6 table spoon icing sugar
1 packet baking powder (35 gr. Approx)
1 small bowl amount coconut powder ( not the tiny one) look at the pic.
Preparation:
1) Take the margarine that is softened in room temperature in to one big cup.
2) Add the eggs(but separate one’s white part into another cup), icing sugar, 4 table spoon coconut. Add flour and baking powder while you are mixing it together. Mix everything, knead the dough. Obtain slightly stiff dough.
3) Take pieces from that bigger than hazelnut and round it with your hands.
4) Once you’ve got the balls sink it into the egg’s white part that you have separated earlier. And after sinking egg’s white sink it to coconut as well in a plate.
5) Place them separately and nicely in the oven tray.
6) Bake them in middle temperature like 150-170 for 20-25 minutes.
Note: 1. Control the condition of cookies as your oven’s adjustment can be different than others.
2. Make sure the dough won’t stick in your hand. We call it earlobe consistency in Turkish kitchen term. I know it sounds funny but it is like an interpretation so you can adjust its consistency by looking your earlobe'. hehe.. I'm kidding, you do not have to hold your earlobe and adjust it lah :D Enjoy!
