An Islamic Turkish Art: Marbling (Abru) - Leaving The Rose

This is a marvelous art that is known Ebru in Turkey, in English it is called 'Marbling'. It seems easy while watching but people spend their life on Ebru to become a master of this art. Also this is the art which I desire to do in further inshallah. Until now I couldn't get any chance because of the study but hopefully I will do this after I go to Turkey. By the way, this is a sad story of Bulbul and Rose which is read by an artist in the video. I want to share it in English as well for my friends who cannot understand Turkish Language. Of course I have mistakes in translation but anyway I hope u can understand the main story. This is it. :)

The Crow used to be jealous of Bulbul. When Bulbul starts to warble and sing, the Crow used to scream with his bad voice to hold down Bulbul’s voice. Bulbul was continuing to do the best thing that he knows and singing more lovely. The Crow had understood that he will not be able to silence Bulbul with this way and happen to think a slyness. In a usual day, when Bulbul was singing at the (sahar) twilight time, the Crow had come to Bulbul and said: “Bulbul brother, do not sing for nothing.” Bulbul asked back to the Crow: “Why?” Crow has offered his enmity as amity: “Give a look at me, you sing and shed tears in every sahar time for Rose but everybody else rolls rose oil, Rose does not assist to you.” Bulbul comes to a stop at once, his solicitude and the Crow’s words had been matched each other. He thought that is true and asked to Crow: “So, what do you think I should do?” Crow had answered with his most honest voice: “Leave Rose, my friend. Start to sing for people then Rose will be yours, you will be the one who noses around rose and rolls rose oil. After Bulbul took the Crow’s advice, decided to go and be together with people. Since then, people had been awakening by Crow’s voice in tea time but not by Bulbul’s voice in sahar time.
