And it's Eid again. Far from home, no baklava, no qurban meat, no pocket money, no feast clothes.. Ok ok.. I won't get emotional as you know I am so get used to this for 3 years. :) I can't study nowadays so it was a usual day today. I had a very long chat with all family, everybody was there luckily. We have watched Peace and War with my lovely friend after that one of my Persian friend has come and we talked about Graffiti first and then got into other things deep. Just now she has gone back to her room after a nice conversation. And I am alone again in this room, listening to Mona Roza(Sezai Karakoc)- Sacit Onan. It is a poem from past. It is such a soulful poem from a real story. I am trying to translate it to English. If I complete it I will share it and its story in English. But this part of it my favorite part:
Yagmurlardan sonra buyurmus basak/ A spica(ear) can be grown up after the rain
Meyvalar sabirla olgunlasirmis/ Fruits can be grown with a patient
Bir gun gozlerimin ta icine bak/ Look at right into my eyes someday
Anlarsin oluler nicin yasarmis/ You will understand why the dead live
There are several of stories about this love. I really would want to know the real story, it is so amazing. It's an acrostic poem so it gives poet's loved ones name from first letter of each verses. Muazzez Akkaya.
I feel sleepy now. Tomorrow our plan was to go to Korean Restaurant with the girls, it can be changed a bit. Let's see how.. Happy Feast to you my dear!!
